Mostly the protest has been pacefull, although there has been some property damage to multinatinal show windows (basically banks and fast food). All sorounded by lots of police and helicopters. When we arrived to Plaça Catalunya (the heart of Barcelona city) the Plataform of organizations has read our vindications (more than 350 agrupations under this plataform form main labour groups to small ecologist ones) and the plataform against the Plan Colombia. When the protest was dissolving police atack started, coming from more than 15 riot vans that were protecting "El Corte Inglés" (Spanish multinational) in Plaça Catalunya. They eventually stopped charging people, but after 10 minutes they attacked the crowd again. This was a much more violent charge. It came from Passeig de Gracia. Police also prevented people from leaving the square towards Las Ramblas (one of the main streets in Barcelona). The police knocked people without looking who they were (protesters, pacifist, glassbreakes, passers-by...) and has shot something (but we didn't stop to look what was it). The people was scared and tryed to scape and find a way out. We have run and run and have arrived at home luckyly.
