Racist Attacks increase in Oldham:
Stop the Nazis marching
Sunday 10 June 2001
Assemble 1 p.m., Civic Centre, Rochdale Road, Oldham

The brutal racist attack on Mohammed Asif Kayani was vile and cowardly. A gang of skinheads beat up
Mohammed on his way home from work. His wife suspects that the thugs were Nazi supporters.

These Nazis must be driven out of Oldham. The NF and C18 want to demonstrate this Sunday. The ANL are
mobilising against them.

Glyn Ford MEP said: "Until we make Oldham a Nazi Free Zone the problems with racist attacks and
violence will continue. The police must crack down hard on these Nazis who are deliberately defying the ban
on them demonstrating. I urge everyone to support the peaceful counter-mobilisation, called by the ANL this
Sunday."

Bob Pounder, Brigade Secretary of Greater Manchester Fire Brigades Union is urging fire fighters to mobilise
for the Anti Nazi demonstration this Sunday. He said: " This is an issue for the working class, black and
white."

Today at the Communication Workers Union conference in Bournemouth a statement was read out
condemning the decision of the Nazi NF to march in Oldham this Sunday. The statement was endorsed by
the National Executive Council of the CWU. The Conference gave out details of the ANL counter
demonstration on Sunday and urged all CWU members to attend the demonstration to stop the Nazis.

Riot on Time

Funny how these 'race' riots started right before elections where the NF were standing in Oldham, and won a huge victory because of it. It was premeditated povocation for party political points. Stop messing with people's lives and minds!

there is hardly any extreme right party or organization left in the netherlands because throughout the 80' and 90' their meeting where 'disolved' by antifa (including firebombed!).
the last attempt to perform in Amsterdam in september 2000 by Filip de Winter (Vlaams Blok, belgian neofascists) was answered by trashing the guys car with him inside(!), him narrowly escaping getting beaten up.
when he finally made it into the TV studio where he was supposed to give an interview he was 'chocolated' (see piying...) which made him look like shit...

bottom lime: the extreme right was successfully associated with (counter)violence which made them loose grounds with the democratic electorate

rev greetings
