The Vrankrijk squatcafe (squated for 18 years) who got threatened by the citycouncil to get evicted or ask for all (bar)licenses has accepted this legal position. The point was that a legal position normally means that you will be controlled by the police. Now we found a way to continue to open the bar WITHOUT police-control.

The point was that a legal position normally means that you will be controlled by the police. Now we found a way to continue to open the bar WITHOUT police-control. Civilservants (who normally only control on hygiene in restaurants etc.) will do the control in the pub: no police is allowed!
This was the proposition of Vrankrijk, we didn't think the mayor would agree (but he did). After 18 years we will lose our autonomy but on this way we can be a pain in the ass fot the city the next 18 years as well.
VRANKRIJK will stay!
