teknival weekend ends in stalemate and massive police operation to waste tax payers money. after taking a lovely site on brampton common, hampshire, england on friday nite (following a tense stand off with the cops before the rest of the convoy bust in) everyone was served with a section 63 under the evil CJA and so moved onto another site on saturday, again off the A3, this time near cobham. rigs set up (only four, but big) and were banging out proper free underground tekno before a lot of riot cops and a helicopter turned up to spoil our fun. a few people were truncheoned, there was a tense standoff and then we left about twelve. CJA in effect.i sincerely hope the rigs all got out ok, at this stage i dont know ....... how can we be targeted as criminals for exercising our fundamental human right to dance and celebrate in the great outdoors ? stand by for more festies this summer.
