Bush to defend tax havens for rich.

U.S. President, George Bush will defend tax havens for multi-national corporations and their rich shareholders.

An article in the 'Guardian' of Friday the 11th of May 2001, states that US president, George Bush, will defy other OECD countries and refuse to allow legislation to be passed that would seek to end 'tax haven' countries for the multi-national corporations and their rich shareholders.

In what has to be the bluntest example yet of a nation's leader putting the interests of the obscenely wealthy before the people, and even the country and government itself, Bush said that he did not believe that it would be in the interests of American corporations to allow this legislation to be passed.

The article did not include any reaction from the leaders or finance ministers of other countries.
