Especially for those who were planning to go to the Kingsway Hall patent action this morning but failed to find any bio-pirates. The venue was changed last minute because they knew you were coming. Here is the new venue - if you get your skates on, maybe you could shut it down!!
The following comes from a leaked email. If anyone knows of someone who can make use of it (you'll need to be quick!), please let them know asap.
Subject: World Patent Protection Summit - Venue Change!
I am writing to inform you of a venue change for the above event that you are speaking at. We have moved the conference to The Crowne Plaza, London Heathrow.
Over the last two years, London has experienced May Day marches against Communism/Capitalism. These have tended to get out of control and have become violent. Due to the controversial nature of this conference and it's
relation to an area of great media attention, we have decided it would be best to stay out of central London.
We have informed all the delegates about this change and they all appear to be quite excited!
If you have booked a room at the Kingsway Hall, you may cancel without a charge. The Crowne Plaza at Heathrow is also a better rate!
You will be able to find transport here from Heathrow via bus or a Taxi for #3.50. I have attached a link for the address details.
I would be grateful if you could be discreet about the venue change, as a precautionary measure.
