Angel Islington Update

Action took place in Angel.

It consisted of an autonomous group setting up a stand with a banner and all sorts of information, including info on the campaigns doing actions around the monopoly board and a media critique highlighting the fact that mainstream media is owned by, and therefore serves, corporations.

It was really a superb exercise in information spreading, even some of the police took away copies of various anarchist papers, and people who wanted a chat had the oppurtunity to debate the issues with real-life anti-capitalists!

All in all I thought it was pretty successful and i'd like to thank the people who set it up (who's names i won't mention in case they don't want me to.)

The independent news stand is a fantastic idea. It would be great to see hundreds of these things at each rally, protest and general hellraising events. Are there more images?
