Sometime during the night (just about 2am) a number of placards appeared stuck with heavy duty tape to the windows and railings of the plush BAE Systems' building.
Don’t believe the hype!
Campaign Against Arms Trade have featured in just about every newspaper as planning to give BAE Systems - the world's biggest arms manufacturer - a little visit on Pall Mall for a light hearted office occupation. Is it true?
Who knows?
What can be confirmed, however, is that sometime during the night (just about 2am) a number of placards appeared stuck with heavy duty tape to the windows and railings of the plush BAE Systems' building.
They read: 'Only Joking! See you on the 3rd May !', with a spoof picture of Sir Richard Evans, chairman of the company, arm in arm with Tony Blair… and the grim reaper.
May 3rd is reference to the arms company's Annual General Meeting, which CAAT will be making it's traditional appearance. CAAT welcomes anyone who wants to play.
