Good luck to all at The Old Bacon Factory

The cops changed their stance last night on all their tv interviews - from stating the line that anyone who cared about the issues or wanted to demonstrate peacefully should not attend Mayday demonstrations, to saying they are discouraging violent demonstrators from attending...

Me thinks it had started to dawn on a lot of people that the joint police/press hype and hysteria amounted to a somewhat sinister attack on the freedom to demonstrate, and was little more than a state sponsored form of repression.

While the issues have started to be discussed in mainstream media over the last few days - even the Evening standard editorial yesterday admitted that the protest target of international capitalism was a valid one! - the press of this country are guilty of an astounding level of misinformation and propaganda.

It may be a while before the dust starts to settle on this one, but serious questions need to be asked about the role of the press in relation to Mayday.

And so to action...

Be strong in the face of 'zero tolerance' - look after each other - have fun, be safe - this is global.

May the force ... etc

Humour the bastards

I can't be with you in London today as I'm still on conditional discharge from last year, but will be out and about elsewhere...To those who are going please remember our secret weapon...laughter.

We must laugh in the face of their violence, laugh at their destructive policies, laugh at their complete lack of understanding, laugh at our elected politicians, laugh at the faceless corporations in their ever more desperate search for profits (what do they want all that money for?), laugh at the reporters who know what's actually happening but aren't allowed to tell anyone, laugh at those who say we are naive, should grow up and live in the real world, and above all giggle hysterically at the masked, weapon carrying violent thugs in blue.

Look around you and laugh at the absurdity of it all.

Please don't fall for their tricks, we can never win through violence - they have all the weapons and will always beat us this way. Laughter is our greatest weapon and our greatest defence (they can not shield themselves from it no matter how hard they try!)

Remember we will laugh last and loudest...

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HEE HA

Much love and respect (ps please look after each other).

GET TO WORK SWAMPIES

If it wasn't for this capitalist society you all live in you wouldn't be able to claim the dole and sit on your arse all day. You would have to work. How do you feel about that!!

If it wasn't for...

If it wasn't for protesters, you wouldn't have the right to talk bollocks now, or in the future.

If you tolerate this, then your children will be next.

rights

I have to disagree with with my friend blindmind. Our unfortunately ignorant friend James Green would be able to talk all the bollocks he liked. He wouldn't, however, unless born to aristos or capitalists, have the right to an 8 hour day, sickness pay, holidays or holiday pay, disability support if injured at work or anywhere else. Nor would he have the right to an education although in this instance it appears to have been wasted on him. If arrested falsely or otherwise he would not receive anything approximating a fair trial and could face execution as one option on the punishment list.

I suspect that Mr Green does exercise his right to make a killing. I mean that both literally and figuratively.

Good luck to you today blindmind and all the swampies of the world.
