this would be more enlightening if you gave a link to the article or told us what it was about. Not all of us read the times.

need to see the article!

24.04.2001 09:15

olie,
I agree, it would be good for people to see these articles (although I've actually seen this one myself) and also hear from Mayday organisers to know whether there is any truth in this - looting shops I can get but what good would bomb scares do? Also the article said activists would be making crank emergency calls to disrupt the city!!? What? What is the truth can anyone tell me?

Also - AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE PLEASE COME DRESSED LIKE DENNIS THE MENACE ie jumper with stripes mad with black tape and an afro wig. We shall hence forth be known as the mayday menaces haha.

Sorry, there was an article and comments but indymedia obviously didn't want them...

Not that I would suggest there's any conspiracy to stop you reading it or anything.

Until recently, Wombles were best known as the diminutive furry creatures from a Seventies kids' TV series who kept Wimbledon Common tidy. Although they lived in a commune of sorts - a burrow underneath the common, to be precise - and preferred not to mix with outsiders, they were a fairly genteel bunch who never got in trouble with the police.
