Tomato flinger gets convicted.

The woman who threw a tomato at the Fuhrer to protest against Iraqi sanctions has been givebn a one year conditional discharge

This story has been briefly mentioned in the media but is possibly one of the most important stories for ages:

The woman who threw a tomato a Tony Blair while he was visiting Bristol to protest aginst our sanctions against Iraq was convicted and given a one year conditional discharge. This sends out the clear message that while starving thousands of innocent people is fine, throwing a tomato at our great leader isn't.

Am I the only person disgusted to find that a man responsible for the bombing of Iraq and Serbia (both illegal under International Law), the starvation of thousands and the leader of a country with one of the most corrupt governments in the developed world and one of the largest nuclear arsenals in the world (legal under International Law we are told) is supported whole heartedly by the supposedly independent judiciary (i.e Aitkin and his cronies) while anyone protesting against him is crimminalised.
