Student shutdowns

The National Union of Students have called a national shutdown on the 1st of March. Students all over the country will be striking against tuition fees, against the threat of top-up fees and calling for the restoration of the grant.
As well as the official NUS shutdown, in a lot of Universities there will be more direct action, such as demonstrations and occupations. A wave of occupations should hopefully happen all acros Britian on the same day, paralysing university admin.
If you're a student reading this, and don't know whats happening in your uni, nag your student union to promote direct action against fees and the privitisation of universities!
