"The following message has been received from the City of London Police regarding a possible demonstration in the City next week.

On the Tuesday 19th December there is a possible demonstration planned by Stop Huntingdon Animal Cruelty (SHAC). It is believed they plan to meet at 11am at the Bishopsgate exit of Liverpool Street Station.

There has been an ongoing series of protests by SHAC in the City. In the past they have followed a set routine with protesters meeting at the mentioned location from where they move off to various financial premises in the City and its environs. Once at a premises they protest against that
individual companies involvement with regard to financial backing of Huntingdon Life Sciences(HLS). At this time no projected protester numbers are known however, in the past numbers have been between 35 and 60.

There is no intelligence to suggest that any particular premises will be targeted. All companies should adjust there security measures accordingly.
