Undercurrents recorded 20 activists occupying the plenery session of the congeress center.
Our camerawoman, Anna Helme reported live from inside the plenery room at 4pm GMT-
'I followed with my camera as activists forced their way in to stop the meeting. They are also hanging from the roof letting off hot air balloons. No one has tried to evict activists yet but the people are intent on staying and disrupting the meetings.'
This action follows ths mornings mass arrests, including British activists, during a Nuclear Walk of Shame. The demonstration was a peaceful protest against the US, Canada, China and Japan governments keen on using nuclear energy as a way to escape from real solutions to solve the climate crisis.
