Come all Friday S29 to the Czech embassy in London, 4pm.

It started with few people, but it kept growing in numbers as people arriving from Praha were turning up directly from the buses. Police also turned up quite massively (4 or 5 vans) and they kept us at the other side of the road.

Eventually we pushed our way back to the embassy's front and, surprise-surprise, the police pushed us back quite heavily to the other side.

They then surrounded us for about 1 and hal h. till we decided to leave in block (there was about 30-40 of us). When we were leaving they got quite bully and nicked one of us.

He's apparently in Notting Hill nick. There was a quick assembly to decide what to do next. People has decided to go back to picket the embassy again tomorrow afternoon at 4pm. All of you in London come if you can as the more the merrier!!

People that had been in Praha was telling us tales of police brutality. At present there are around 900 people arrested (lots of czechs), probably aiming to crush the autonomous and anarchist groups there.

Also a Spanish woman was thrown out of the window of a police station (they say she fall over!!) ans broke her spine - she will be for the rest of her life in a wheelchair! Only this afternoon 80 more people got nicked there.

Come all on Friday!

Thanks for this one folks, we really need solidarity against the repression here in prague - nice one!

We'll also need to be ready if they come after the czech activists in the next weeks as more and more people are leaving prague to go home now - we've seen the secret police activities, been harassed on the streets, been beaten and subjected to various forms of torture - but we have our embassies to help us - those Czech activists who live here will not have this assistance - it is us who must help them if they need it.
