It started with few people, but it kept growing in numbers as people arriving from Praha were turning up directly from the buses. Police also turned up quite massively (4 or 5 vans) and they kept us at the other side of the road.
Eventually we pushed our way back to the embassy's front and, surprise-surprise, the police pushed us back quite heavily to the other side.
They then surrounded us for about 1 and half an hour till we decided to leave as a block (there was about 30-40 of us). When we were leaving they got quite bully and nicked one of us.
He's apparently in Notting Hill nick. There was a quick assembly to decide what to do next. People has decided to go back to picket the embassy again tomorrow afternoon at 4pm. Anyone of you in London come if you can as the more the merrier!!
People that had been in Praha was telling us tales of police brutality. At present there are around 850 people arrested (lots of czechs). The aim of this is probably to crush the autonomous and anarchist groups there.
Also a Spanish woman was thrown out of the window of a police station (they say she fall over!!) and broke her spine!!!. Only this afternoon 80 more people got nicked there.
