Corporate media gets it wrong again

- | 18.09.2000 17:22 | Prague/IMF/WB

The Electronic Telegraph makes some staggering mistakes.

Sippits from an article entitled 'Prague becomes armed camp for IMF talks'

There are fears of widespread violence as 50,000 radical protesters try to disrupt the meeting from Sept 18-26.

The event, called S23 by anarchist groups, already has dozens of websites devoted to it.

end

So it's s23 not s26, and the meetings are finishing a couple of days ahead of schedule on the 26th... er right.

One wonders which Internet the Electronic Telegraph's author inhabits - and where exactly are all these dozens of s23 websites?

Let's hope their reporting of the actual events have a more factual basis.
