Protected Australian wildlife, to be killed to entertain Americans

The Qld Govt, has sold a permit to CBS television, to bring the Survivor program to a wilderness area 1 hour inland from Cairns! It involves heavy equipment, hundreds of support personnel and 16 americans who will kill native wildlife in the name of entertainment, to win a million dollars! If you are really an environmentalist and not just a fringe dweller you should be angry!

Here's a 3min Video about the Halloween anti-war actions in Brighton. Starts with Tony Benn and
footage from the anti-war demo in London (28/9/2002). Couldn't help myself putting an appropriate
soundtrack too.
About 500 demonstrators gathered on 31/10/2002 for direct action and blocked the traffic in front
of Brighton Pier. Police are trying to push demonstrators away - read more about the event and
about police violence here, here, here, and even here.
TO VIEW THE VIDEO
==================
two formats: RealMedia (crappy quality) and OGM (better quality)
To view the Realmedia file you need RealPlayer.
To view the OGM (Ogg Media File with XviD video and Vorbis sound) you need to install a filter for
the open-source patent-free audio codec Ogg Vorbis (get OggDS here) and the video filter ffdshow (download it here
). You can also download both filters in the attached WinZip file filters.zip
The OGM file can then be viewed in any media player, such as Microsoft Media
Player or
Zoomplayer
