The case against British Nuclear Fuels for alleged breaches of safety at Sellafield has been adjourned by Whitehaven magistrates until October 5.

If we could extract a mere 1 per cent of the total annual subsidy given to nuclear fuels and instead spend it on sustainable energy sources (solar, wind, tide ducks, hydro etc etc) we'd have a cleaner, safer, more diverse way of creating electricity and we'd create thousands of interesting jobs at the same time. Take note, fat cats in the energy sector, our day will come
