Take a look at the CTK, Czech news agaency website. It has all sorts of interesting news items.

For example: the Czech police have clamped down on a socialist newspaper in Moravia; soldiers are on standby for september; the Czech Republic is acting as a NATO emissary to Lituainia; and so on.

You dont need the permission of the SWP to go

The Socialist workers party are setting up odd Prague 'collectives', which generously 'allow' 'local' people to 'participate' in the action. On their own terms, to order, of course...
Very generous ! This party is notorious for 'tailing' mass radical movements and trying to 'co-opt' them back into the Labour party. After all, they appeared in the aftermath of 1968, and have been a nuisance ever since.

'Zara thustr' [sic !] is absolutely right, without a doubt. The SWP are a bit of a problem, and perhaps represent a new form of an old tendency, namely 'Orthodox' Marxism. Anarchists cannot be expected to know this, but what they take to be 'authentic' Marxism is in fact an highly compromised, diluted, virually Christianised version of socialism, almost unrecognisable from anything marx would have been involved with. It revolves essentially around an UNCRITICAL approach to the labor movement, building up its most flawed features, giving the party effective control OVER it. this first began with Bernstein and Kautsky around 1890, after the death of Rngels. The second wave was that of Stalin and his variants, such as Brezhnev and Mao. The third, [which bases itself not on the Marx of the 1860s, or of Stalin,] but on Trotsky, is with us now. Labourism has almost destroyed the thinking of leftists in britain, and very few groups are able to operate outside its insidious, Christian influence. Nothing, it seems, can shake the SWP from its course, sacrificing or subordin ating the INTERNATIONAL responsibilities a left group has in an imperialist nation. Whilst we should have 'fair dealings' with the number of good socialists who have become tangled up with it, we should avoid its organization.
