The Gatwick No Border Camp forced to change location after police harassment

Due to constant police harassment and pressure, the owner of the No Border Camp site has decided to pull out from renting his land. However, a new site has now been rented near the village of Balcombe, West Sussex.

Location of the Gatwick No Border Camp disclosed

The organisers of the Gatwick Area No Border Camp have announced the location of their camp site. The rented field is located near the village of Salfords, Surrey, which lies approximately 3 miles south of Redhill on the A23 road that runs between London to Brighton. No Border Camp Benefit
From 19th to 24th September 07 we will gather at Gatwick Airport for the first No Border Camp in the UK. This camp will be a chance to work together to try and stop the building of a new detention centre, and to gather ideas for how to build up the fight against the system of migration controls.

On Saturday July 21st we organise a day of workshops and a benefit gig in Chat's Palace, Hackney.

Pics: Stop New Gatwick Detention Centre Demo

The sun was shining today in Crawley, West Sussex, when over 100 people took part in a demonstration trough the town centre. The protest was called by the NoBorders network to show opposition to the planned building of a new migrants detention centre near Gatwick airport.
