Archway books, the second hand bookshop in Falmouth has re-opened keeping a varied stock of second hand books and with new and second hand radical books. We specialise in anarchism, green politics and primitive skills. We are also stocking a range of magazines, donation only pamphlets as well as free leaflets and other prop.
We are hoping to be an info point for people so please send us or drop in any flyers, stickers etc.
We are also hoping to clear enough space to be able to use it for small meetings etc in the near future.
Our address is Archway Bookshop, Market Strand, Falmouth TR 11 3DB
email - archway@riseup.net
We're down an alley, opposite the pier and betwen the Prince of Wales pub and Murder King. Drop in and say hello......

We (PN) are based above Housman bookshop ( http://www.housmans.com) in central London and know it has been a struggle at times to maintain operations in the face of the insane underpricing and scale of the bigger stores. But we also know that the broad community - of activists, campaigners, radical academics, various anti-authoritarians, etc - who use the shop (and can find all manner of quirky material - alongside more "normal" tomes), do really value it.
All social and political movements need spaces where ideas and information can be traded (in financial terms or otherwise) and as well as providing a service, bookshops and radical publications also help foster a sense of community.
So good luck with it amig@s ;)
Cornwall will be a better place for it.
