A woman who has been investigated by the RSPCA for cruelty and negelect, who has reported Marion from FRIEND farmed animal sanctuary to the police and RSPCA, who maliciously reported a well behaved and looked after dog to the police and RSPCA resulting in man and dog being tear gassed is running "benefit" gigs for "AR" but keeps the money for herself.

None of the money goes to where the organiser claims it is going.
The next con night out is at Ska at The Salisbury, Grand Parade, Green Lanes, London N4 on 30th May from 10pm until 2am.

The nights are being organised by Josie Hitchens aka Rutherford aka Powell from Finsbury Park [but who bizarrely calls herself Josie Croydon] who has written on her own Facebook : "I am looking for homes for my cats, guinea pigs and rabbit as I am going to go and live on the streets with my dog".
She has also written "I am being awarded an OBE for my work with animals".
Last heard of trying to find out who from SHAC goes to Krav Maga and wants to come too. ....
She sells animals from Gum Tree, reported Marion from SHAC / FRIEND to the police and RSPCA following a row where she tried to sell puppies that she had dumped there. She says of Marion "I'm sorry but there is no way that anyone that fat can be a vegan".

Most importantly do this lady's charges need homes, if she is asking for help rehoming do we need to step in or not?
Her first post (which was hidden) said she was going onto the streets with her dog. I have been in 2 situations where homeless people have approached activists and tearfully asked for their dogs to be rehomed as many dogs cope very badly on the streets. In both cases the dogs were adopted (one of them is at my feet right now) and in both cases they were riddled with parisites and needed hundreds of pounds of vetinary treatment.Both were much loved but very malnourished both "owners" did their best. Many dogs are very well looked after but for obvious reasons for both humans and dogs usually suffer cold, wet and hunger
I am concerned for the dog and for this woman who may be choosing to "go on the streets" but maybe she needs some support. Can someone tell us more if we need to do anything?

There have been concerns over the benefit gigs and people such as John Starkey have pulled out of them as a result of the money not going to where it was stated. If the money is not going to where it is said to be going then don't go to the gigs. There is an Active Slaughter benefit gig on the same night and most AR people will be going to this.
Most importantly the woman and the animals are clearly in a precarious situation and need help urgently. Perhaps even temporary homes until the situation improves?

If there is anyone from AR who lives near Finsbury Park who knows her and can help then perhaps you can go and see her and offer to take the animals if she does have to move out quickly for whatever reason? If there is a situation building up with the neighbours or as a result of mental helath / drug issues then the animals could be at risk.
This is an urgent concern. Help those animals.

The other incidents aside, this woman has been accused [rightly or wrongly] of "grassing" in the Finsbury Park area by her neighbours and the above claims have been and can be 110% substantiated.
Whatever the ins and outs or whatever you think about this...the woman and her animals need help and quickly. There are serious drug and mental health issues here and they need help as soon as is possible, perhaps with somewhere to stay? At least for the animals.
The Facebook postings are real and as the above said, a cry out for help.

What also needs to be pointed out here is that the man ccused of keeping a dangerous dog was innocent, as is the dog.
Marion does not need to be investiagted by the RSPCA and could have done without the whole thing, Marion provides a vital service for the animals and could have done without all of this.
It should be made known too that the woman in question once worked in a lab and that there could be something else going on. This too can be 100% substantiated.
It is paramount that these animals are helped and that people tread carefully as the woman, Josie does have mental health and drug problems and should not be judged. She needs help and so do the pets.

She writes on Indymedia using other activists names and has attempted to disrupt and destroy campaigns.
There may well be mental health and drug issues going on but I have no sympathy for someone who :
SELLS animals from Gumtree for crack, accused Marion of theft of animals, holds benefit gigs "for the animals" her own pocket etc.
This woman is horrible bully who has paid addicts crack to have women beaten up...she did this out of jealousy involving a man. I have no sympathy for this person at all. She is not an innocent victim.
She sent letters all over the country about Deborah Sciluna and probably others in a concerted hate campaign against people.
As has been stated she has been investigated for cruelty and finds AR as some big joke. Anyone who can write "I am getting an OBE for my work with the animals" having sold them and slurring Marion like that is evil.
Each and every time someone makes a false allegation to the RSPCA and the police it takes away the credibility of all of us.
Don't forget that a dog was tear gassed [100% substantiated] because of this woman's actions. how many other times has she done something like this? She is clearly a nutter and the animals need homing somewhere else and that includes the dog.

For the animals sake give the woman some help to look after them until she is better. I think that this is more helpful than backbiting for the whole world to read it. If Josie did work in a lab then that is something that needs to be discussed or investigated fully but we need proof before this sort of thing is made public. If someone has proof send it to trusted friends / trusted people in AR so that this can be sorted out.
Most importantly we need to make sure that her animals have a roof over their heads and that they are safe. I dare say that Josie is probably feeling paranoid right now so please have some patience. Her animals need you to help.

Any activist who continues to associate with her after she has been outed as an informer is an absolute tool and also needs to be ostracised. How can anyone take us seriously (and how do we hope to get new people to join us) if we can't even deal with informers?
