This is an update of an earlier posting giving more details about Milan Rai's imprisonment and how you can support him.
Milan Rai of Justice Not Vengeance (
http://www.j-n-v.org/) was sentenced to 28 days on Thursday for non-payment of a compensation order to the Foriegn Office. This arose from his action in November 2004 protesting UK involvement in the assault on Fallujah.
Apologies for some lack of clarity in an earlier posting( http://www.indymedia.org.uk/en/2005/11/327956.html) regarding where Milan was being held. It is now confirmed that he is in Lewes Prison. He will probably be held until November 29th. Mil would appreciate letters, and you can send these to:
