“Compañeras” of the EZLN and compañeras from every continent in the world come together in a gathering that starts today, the 29th of December, and continues until the 1st of January, 2008. Among the issues to be discussed are rebel municipalities, good government committees, cooperatives, and collective actions within the autonomous lives of the communities. As this gathering is intended for women, men are invited but only as observers and are asked to cook, cut firewood, and help with logistical tasks.
