The checkpoint, wall and detention pen.
A pregnant palestinian woman is harressed and searched.
An international steps in to help the pregnant woman...
Created as an alternative means of engaging the community, the Flying Checkpoint combines street theatre and audience participation to bring viewers an insight into the tedious, oppressive and often brutal reality of life under occupation.
Each character within the theatre represents a real person who has died whilst waiting to get through a checkpoint.
Despite being ruled as illegal under international law by the International Court of Justice in July 2004 and in violation of over 65 different UN resolutions, the occupation of Palestine continues to be supported by the international community, as does the expansion of illegal israeli settlements within the West Bank and the construction of the Aparthied Wall through and around it.
From boycotting israeli products to working out in Palestine or campaigning here in the UK, there are many ways you can stand in solidarity with the Palestinians.
