"This is too important to be swept out of site, and not just because it could cost £40 billion. The decision made in the next few months is about how we as a country approach the world for the next 50 years: Will we continue the shameful, arrogant, bullying and illegal strategy of threatening Nuclear Annihilation or will we take a stand for peace and security and dare to hope that we might have a world left to leave to our children and grandchildren?"
"We need to not just object politely to the idea that we should build a new generation of Nuclear Weapons at this point, we need to actually stop it happening."
There will be more actions at Coulport and Faslane as the Trident Ploughshares Disarmament Camp starts on Saturday (29 July) and runs for two weeks.
