The Crown Office have sent out a press release saying that a further 59 G8 related court cases have been dropped leaving just 240 outstanding.

"In 59 separate cases the procurator fiscal has decided, having reviewed the individual facts and circumstances, that it was appropriate to discontinue proceedings."

This does make me wonder if we'll see any false arrset cases soon.
