Uncle John and Whitelock play twisted country punk and guttural delta blues with socio-political, curdling rants amidst howling riffs and babbling basslines. With a handful of high profile support slots with the likes of Babyshambles and The 5,6,7,8’s under their belt, as well as a recent tour with The Fall, Uncle John and Whitelock have gone from strength to strength.
RESON8! openers, Degrassi, have developed a fierce reputation for vibrant and intense live performances that earned them a Peel session back in January 2001. Having recently acquired the services of Idlewild’s Bob Fairfoull as a guitarist, Degrassi have gone on to support Snow Patrol and Franz Ferdinand, toured with Cinerama (ex-Wedding Present) and 80’s Matchbox B-Line Disaster, and appeared everywhere from Death Disco (Alan McGee) to MTV. http://www.degrassi.ndo.co.uk/
