i was going to add a useful "signpost" back to a comparatively well researched but often forgotten actual history of how we ended up with " remember the eleventh of the eleventh" . . . . to be a useful source of information for people new to the website as we approach this sunday/monday .
Odd that this was also flushed down the memory hole, so to speak, when it didnt particularly mention the current racketeers, private security "industry" or corrupt secret police that were occasionally more of a feature of its posts, comments, etc.
If i remember correctly, "a bunch of flowers" was a paragraph heading/ subtitle - a keyphrase for those with better search engines or original copies of the archives of "indymedia uk". As for the rest of the postings - they might have been "idiosyncratic" - but these aint them!
Intriguing or what !
If possible I might research the near-forgotten basics to post here in the near future - seeing as we are going to have four " centenary" years of all this it might be increasingly useful. Good if somebody could hack out the original or repost it if it remains on a harddrive or two. Cheers.
