Yes, Spanner behaves like the boy who owns the football. His current craze is graffiti. There have been a number of voices cautiously raised against this often mindless vilification of the local environment, but they are ruthlessly suppressed. Seen from outside, it is really quite funny, but very sad. Spanner is convinced that we need slogans like “Fresh” , “Maui” , “We are the evil-doers” “ego”, “asbolutely” (sic), “Time 4 tea”, along with some more sensible but many illegible, plastered in the streets, in parks, and beside the river, whether we and other folk like it or not, and some with our website address attached. How very sad !
