May 28 -- Jesse Ventura, the colorful former governor of Minnesota, takes an important step today in his 4 p.m. CST interview live interview with Dr. Jim Fetzer, founder of Scholars for 9/11 Truth. The two men are long-time friends, but haven't spoken on air together since Ventura's recent statements about 9/11, in which the former SEAL and demolitions expert joined a growing list of experts and celebrities who believe that 9/11 was an inside job.
The ever-controversial Ventura is widely rumored to be considering an independent candidacy for the U.S. Senate in the November elections, and seems poised to tap into the substantial anti-Bush sentiment -- 71% of the country according to recent polls -- and mistrust of both Democrat and Republican incumbents.
