A message to WAG from the student's.

We are students who took direct action against the government and are more than happy at the smashing and storming of the Torie's H.Q in retaliation to the cuts.

However we are shocked and appauled to see a baldheaded moron going on television making us all look and soind like thugs and hooligans. This is what the mass-media were desperate for and you gave it to them. This is on a par with Luke on the front of the evening standard with a batman symbol on his head, saying he led the march.

WAG shut up and keep out of this movement, this is a people's revolution led by the students revolt. Not a load of sex pistols spoiling for a fight.

... though 'fixie' is a bloody stupid word. Nor is there anything especially wrong with the sentiment of the statement, though trying to establish some sort of nasty corporate statement on a decentralised and spontaneous action is not in the spirit of the day. What should be taken from this? First, as the OP said, we're not thugs or hooligans. But neither are we under the control of some statement-making politburo.
