Defending 9/11 Truth Leaders
-- Dr. Fetzer and Dr. Barrett --

By Captain Eric H. May,
Military-Political Editor
The Lone Star Iconoclast

HOUSTON, June 15 -- There has been an ongoing effort by certain parties -- many of them anonymous or pseudo-mimic -- to undermine the reputations of two 9/11 Truth movement leaders I know well, Dr. James Fetzer and Dr. Kevin Barrett. To have one's credibility attacked, of course, means that one has credibility to start with, and it is my informed opinion that both these gentlemen have it in spades. So do other heroic academics, for that matter, with whom these two gentlemen may not always be in agreement. I do not believe our movement profits by efforts to damage any of them.

I believe that readers of my military-political columns will take an interest in my brief responses to two of these parties. The first of them, Mark S. Bilk, makes his points rationally; the second, Lucas Trent, employs troll tactics. They represent the bookends of the kinds of people I have consistently encountered making attacks against Dr. Fetzer, Dr. Barrett and many others whom I know to be of unimpeachable motives.

To Mark S. Bilk:

I believe that you are correct about 9/11 being the cause of both the global war and the homeland state. I further believe that you are correct about "Cointelpro" infiltration of the 9/11 Truth movement. Having said that, I believe that you are utterly incorrect in your assessment of Dr. Fetzer and Dr. Barrett as Cointelpro operatives, or even as misguided men.

I have known Dr. Barrett well for three years, and he has been part of my cyber-intelligence group, Ghost Troop. He demonstrated courage on numerous occasions, once in confronting the US military command at Fort Monroe, Va., about highly suspicious "nuclear terror" drills in the winter of 2006. His intervention on that occasion may have been decisive, since those drills resulted in the only example of a possible false flag interdiction by 9/11 Truth activists documented by the mainstream media:  http://news.galvestondailynews.com/story.lasso?ewcd=f9c4071e30759dda

As for Dr. Fetzer, I met him last year, and have found that he has constantly stood at the forefront of the 9/11 Truth movement. While he is interested -- as every good academic should be -- to a wide range of opinions that he may or may not share, I have found him to be balanced and reasonable. While the two of us have spoken, both on and off the air, about a wide range of unusual topics, I have not found him to be obsessively concerned with them, just openminded. I think you are trying to make a vice out of what I have found to be a virtue.

As you may know, Dr. Fetzer is one of four military veterans responsible for issuing the Mayday Alert in early May to caution the American people about the possibility that the largest military drills this year, NLE 2-08, could be used to camouflage a false flag attack. We same four veterans recently issued the Indy Alert about the dangers of the deployment of 2,300 Marines to Indianapolis last week, where they're practicing urban assault and martial law.

Candidly, not many people have enough guts to sign their name to a document pointing the finger directly at the White House and the Pentagon as it maneuvers military forces and prepares operations. Dr. Fetzer's opinion, though, is that in light of the terror drills occurring simultaneous with the US 9/11 and the UK 7/7 attacks, it is incumbent on those of us with a good background and a good backbone to make sure that US citizens are aware of the hazards, even if it is hazardous to us.

Finally, Mr. Bilk. I take issue with your view that the Financial Times article about 9/11 Truth, in which Dr. Fetzer figures prominently, is a hit piece. While it was not so one-sided as to be a PR piece, it introduced the most conservative and resistant readership in the UK to WTC 7, the BBC's premature announcement of WTC 7's collapse, and Larry Silverstein's "pull it" statement in his 2002 PBS interview. I don't see how an article doing all that can fail to help 9/11 Truth, or how a frank acknowledgment that we of the 9/11 Truth movement have our differences is even negative.

My opinion in this area is well-informed: In the last two decades of professional writing I have been an executive ghostwriter, an NBC editorial writer, a PR director and an Army public affairs officer. The sum of my experience is that an article like the one in the Financial Times was a damned fine advertisement for 9/11 Truth. I wrote as much this week in a short article:

9/11 Key in UK Financial Times

I hope that my information will help you to establish a more balanced picture of Dr. Fetzer and Dr. Barrett. I consider them both friends, and I do not choose friends lightly.

To Mr. Trent:

I am leaving your vicious e-mail below. You hardly seem credible when you write threatening abuse in capital letters. These are "troll" tactics. Your purpose is to enrage people and create endless infighting. You needlessly attack Dr. Fetzer's work on JFK, which has no bearing on the issues of 9/11. This is a "red herring" tactic.

Writer's note: for an example of attack writing that mentions Dr. Fetzer, Dr. Barrett and me, please refer to "Who Is Captain May? " by "Arabesque" --  http://arabesque911.blogspot.com/2007/11/who-is-captain-may.html

Lucas Trent wrote:

BLAH BLAH BLAH... SHUT THE FUCK UP FESTER, EVERYONE KNOWS YOU'RE AN AGENT!

WHY WOULD MARK BILK OR ANY DECENT PERSON DIGNIFY YOUR STINKING, WRETCHED, FRAUDULENT EXISTENCE BY JOINING YOU ON YOUR CHEAP LITTLE BROADCAST!? YOUR BOOKS ON JFK ARE GARBAGE AND PURPOSEFULLY SO... JUST LIKE YOUR "CONTRIBUTIONS" TO 9/11!

YOUR BOSSES COULDN'T EVEN COME UP WITH NEW MATERIAL... FAKED FILM, AGAIN!

JUST THINK - AT THE END OF YOUR MISERABLE LITTLE LIFE YOU CAN LOOK BACK AT ALL THE LIES YOU SPREAD...

AT ALL THE UGLY EFFORT YOU PUT INTO DEFERRING JUSTICE...

AND YOU CAN KNOW IN YOUR SHRIVELED LITTLE BLACK HEART THAT YOU ARE TRULY A VILLAIN OF VILLAINS

A NASTY AND IGNOBLE WRETCH WHO EVERYONE WILL BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO FORGET!

BUT FIRST YOU WILL ROT IN PRISON...
