The suicide bombings in London by British born Muslims represent new heights in stupidity by Islamic Jihadists.
The fact is that this is a war that Islam cannot hope to win.
The only thing that allows Islamic fundamentalists to wage this war is the democratic traditions and restraint of the west-loathe to engage in any action that might see them forced to target a particular race or creed-and label them the enemy.
Europeans were generally supportive of the Palestinian cause-attacks in the heart of Europe will erode that support to nothingness.
Certainly Europeans will lose any real desire to speak out strongly on behalf of the Palestinians.
In such an atmosphere Israel will feel little pressure to ease the lot of the Plaestinians.
I believe even the most liberal Englishmen are feeling insulted and betrayed by this attack, and rather peeved at Islam as whole-even if they wont admit it.
Muslims are pushing the envolope-and they might well pay dearly.

Further more, islam is already under attack and has been for a long time. This is inevitable since Islam as a political force is without doubt a serious threat to the neo-con capitalist world order.
