The aim for the year is to focus on issues ranging from intellectual
property rights to gender issues; from immigration and asylum rights to
situationism. We will not only attempt to produce useful resources, but
do so in a manner which is connected to social activism and grassroots
organizing, and helps build alternatives to current political structures.
As a long term goal, we are considering forming a think tank in Cambridge
connecting various members of the Cambridge community. The first meeting
will be held on Wednesday Oct. 27th at 7.30 pm, Godwin Room, Clare
College.

There, people can meet others who are interested in similar topics of
research, discussion and activism. Our first discussion will be on what
we should be reading, and what are the most effective resources that we
can produce in response to the various forms of control we see around us.
We are inviting those already knowledgeable in their field as well as
anyone interested in learning more about a topic in a supportive, dynamic
environment. We hope that from the first gathering the nature of the group
can be defined further by all of us together.
