Just For Laughs to host World Stupidity Awards™?
This year, the second annual World Stupidity Awards, recognizing achievement in stupidity, will take place at Just For Laughs-the world’s largest and most prestigious comedy festival.
“We’re stupefied,” said Albert Nerenberg of the Main Organization Revealing Obvious Numbskulls (MORON), which puts on the awards. “You can’t get any bigger than this. Stupidity is finally getting the recognition it deserves.”
Nerenberg is also the director of the hit film, Stupidity, which is playing at the Roxie Cinema in San Francisco.
The World Stupidity Awards will undeniably be a powerhouse comedy event this July 23rd featuring an array of high-profile comics, presenting the awards along with special guests at the Spectrum in downtown Montreal. Five more awards have been added this year and nominations are now open. Anyone can be nominated in one of these 11 categories although public figures are more likely to be nominated. Nominees will be judged by experts in the field, “a bunch of idiots” say organizers and overseen by MORON. All nominations can be submitted by anyone at

The World Stupidity Awards were created in the year 2003 to salute achievement in ignorance and stupidity. The awards were developed when researchers on the hit film Stupidity discovered there were no award shows to recognize the living stupid and the monumentally ignorant. Organizers of the World Stupidity Awards look forward to the day when the awards will no longer be necessary.

it just goes to show the power of one person
single-handed destroyed the news resources of one of the most progressive
areas of the country. Nessie has accomplished more than Bush, Ashcroft, the FBI, the CIA, and all the secret government organizations......He alone brought down the S/F indymedia! this a truly Impressive feat!I would not be surprised if the Dep of Homeland Defense didn't offer nessie a job when they hear of his actions. we all owe nessie our thanks for showing us that one person can still be victorious over thousands of opponents.
