I think you need a 'security' team along the lines of the Animal Liberation Brigade, seriously. This isn't the first time this sort of violence has happened and it won't be the last, look at previous circus demos against these wankers and sabs against excessively violent hunts.

We NEED backup if we're not willing to properly defend ourselves, or aren't able to due to numbers. No offence, but when you put on the website that you were willing to defend yourselves against their violence, they were clearly looking further for a fight - just like any standard fascist. This needs to be recognised and dealt with appropriately.

If a group keeps hidden in the bushes they can don the balaclavas and make a quick escape after dishing out some justice to animal abusers. Good idea no? I'm sure everyone's thinking of it. Whether they are friends of yours, or others realising this is a good idea - go for it.

We need a revolutionary praxis, otherwise we're not going to win (or it's going to take longer [much longer!] to achieve substantiative and meaningful goals). You can say as much as you like that as long as we make the connection between beating animals and beating women then both will just magically dissappear - but its like some when a rapist murders, it proves that "we're all right and ideological might will overcome". It really won't, its delusional to think so, entirely pacificist even. This thought process just substaines the suffering for much much longer, it's time for critical thinking. Violence needs to be met with violence - as part of an antispe agenda, similar to that of antifa; or even as part of it (as antifa only predominantly target sub-speciesism [racism] and cross-speciesism [sexism], but not all speciesism).

This is not an ideological attack, just a minor criticism from fellow WARNers!

We are just off agains to Jolly's, we will be defending ourselves using legal means as we are known and doing an open demo.Persistance is important with these people who need to be taught some manners maybe by the courts, maybe by other means such as public ridicule, bad press coverage etc, time will tell. There are many ways to curb violence.

We are not pacifists but having a large group of masked up people anywhere in the vicinity of a planned demo is going to lead to people getting arrested and maybe sent to prison, people who would make more of an impact in other ways. We think that if people go to prison or hospital that it should not be for acting as our "bodyguards".

Last night threats were made by the circus to visit an activist house, apparently they know where we all live, and we are all lesbians and sluts. The misogynistic, homophobic antics continued when one of them delved into his trousers to show us all something, he clearly could not find what he was looking for and gave up as the police looked in his direction. Maybe he needed a magnifying glass. Unfortuneately a man who was talking to a protestor who had just seen the circus had a child aged maybe 3 in the back of the car who was looking toward the inbred who was fiddling with himself and making masturbatory gestures. We advised this man as to what his child was watching and he left. Wethinks this is not the best PR for attracting parents to watch the show with small children but we'll see what the press have to say today. Plans are in motion.
Really we think that anthropologists could learn masses from this lot. We thought Bobby Roberts was bad but at least they have some sort of restraining device for Kitty when she gets too excited and some of them you can actually have a non fisticuffs conversation with, this lot are...well more of a challenge
