Prayer flags and march for Burma's future
Birmingham city centre
Saturday, October 6, 2007
Time: 12:00pm - 3:00pm
Location: Birmingham

Saturday 6th October is International Burma Action day we plan to meet in City Centre, write buddhist prayer flags with prayers/protests/thoughts for Burma and the people's struggle for democracy, staple onto a line, then walk a silent circuit of the city centre. Then we'd meet back at the same muster point and string our prayer flags up into a prominent place.

This will be a peaceful protest in line with Bhuddist principles

We are at the moment trying to arrange ( at short notice)the venue where we can muster in the City Centre and should be able to confirm by tommorow afternoon which I will post to ths site
.
(For updates in meantime please check out Facebook under causes "Birmingham Unites behind Burma")

Please come and support us!!
