On Friday, this time with the sun shining a larger group brought pots, pans, a sound system and a jazz flute up to the factory to usher the workers home at the end of another week (Friday is a half day).
There has been a demo outside the factory on every working day since the 1st May, with the police only showing up to the larger advertised ones. The workers are beginning to break their (presumably management enforced) policy of not engaging with protesters, if only to shout insults.
Next week there will be a Down the Drones demo on Wednesday and tomorrow there is a picket of Barclays, service provider to ITT, EDO's parent company, at 1pm on North Street.

How anyone can carry on working in a place where it is legally allowed to be smashed up with hammers and have their computers thrown out of the window is beyond me. The only reason this place remains open and operating is vast amounts of money and people in high places. Respect to those people who stand outside the gates with pots and pans and yes a jazz flute. You have undoubtedley caused people to leave their crap horrible job, made peolple think about wars far away yet so close to their doorstep, given the company a bad name, cost them money, lost them contracts and most importantly you have done what you said you were going to do... you smashed edo.
This campaign is a small point on a very large map of anti militarist activism but its actions speak a thousands words and encourages people everywhere to see that despite wars being fought very far away they are controlled, supported and have the armoury manufactured right here in our own back garden and that it can be and is met with fierce condemnation and resistance.

Jazz flute and his cronies didn't trash it. They stand outside and whistle dixey.
>> I bet they were shitting their pants and giving some serious thought as to whether they would return to that factory.
Your assumption is full of horse manure.
>> Not only did these folk royally smash the place up but they were so confident in the convictions of their actions being lawful that they filmed themselves beforehand explaining what they were about to do and waited to be arrested. and guess what........ they were totally right.
Horse shit. That is a total misrepresentation of the outcome. Pack of fucking lies and you know it.
>> IT IS PERFECTLY LEGAL TO SMASH EDO BECAUSE THEY ARE COMPLICIT IN WAR CRIMES!!!!!!!!
No - it is not. And EDO are not complicit in war crimes you tit.

Yeah whatever. Your little mind is obviously full of shit lies, but if you believe that crap then i guess it explains why you are a knob.

Who is paying jazz flute and his cronies to stand outside EDO? Who is financing these cunts?
