PROTEST/ACTION 2 – 6 pm FRIDAY 12th NOVEMBER, SOUTH KOREAN EMBASSY, LONDON.
ANTI-G20 SOLIDARITY. CAPITAL KNOWS NO BORDERS, SO WHY SHOULD WE?
As if this was not enough, the Lee Myeong Bak (presidentof south Korea) administration is using the G20 Summit in Seoul as an excuse to strengthen repression of common people and social movements in south Korea. The government agencies of south Korea have been conducting crackdowns on undocumented migrants, during which migrants are brutally arrested, imprisoned and then deported. Police having been carrying out illegal and racist stop and search procedures on whoever they thing look ‘suspicious’. The government at the same time has been carrying out devastating attacks on south Korean workers and labour unions. To fight this attack, a call was made by the KCTU and other movements of south Korea for international support. It is for this reason we are standing on solidarity with south Korean workers, prisoners and G20 protestors in condemning the government of south Korea and the police for their brutal crackdown and attacks on the people.
EVERYONE COME ALONG, ALL GROUPS, PARTIES ,MOVEMENT S, STUDENTS AND ALL INDIVIDUALS WELCOME. BRING BANNERS, PLACARDS, NOISE AND SOUNDS SYSTEMS. SMASH SEOUL! SMASH THE G-20!
