EDO Arms factory ransacked in Gaza protest
Nine people held after break-in at plant in Brighton making parts for Israeli missiles
In the early hours of Saturday 17th January 6 people broke into the EDO/ITT factory on Home Farm Road, Brighton. They broke windows, sprayed graffiti and threw filing cabinets and computers out of the top floor windows. Police report extensive damage caused to machinery inside the factory. These people targeted EDO due to its role in making weapons used in the aerial bombardment of Gaza.
All 6 are currently being held in police custody and some of them may well be placed on remand. 3 other people were also arrested. Homes of the arrestees have been searched by police
