There was a low key police presence (26 according to the BBC), although the senior officer was seen to get flustered at one point, no doubt looking for some petty excuse to hassle one of the organisers.
This highlights the massive over-policing and surveillance of marches in Brighton against Israel's bombardment of Lebanon and anti-arms trade marches where hundreds of police have turned up for as many protesters.
