Was it the right thing to do though?

20.11.2007 15:15

I wonder.

It will only make matters worse for the way the rest of us get treated by the Constabulary I think.

Concerned

Yes

20.11.2007 15:30

the police will act the way they want to act no matter what, we're already seen this for some time. We should not concern ourselves with their feelings.

unconcerned

it was

20.11.2007 15:57

Direct action is the only real voice, smashing the arms trade (directly) is clearly the most effective way to cause economic damage.

Of course

Get your priorities right 'Concerned'

20.11.2007 15:58

You should be far more concerned with the war crimes facilitated by the EDO butchers than the minor criminal damage inflicted by the righteous night-time elfen visitors and their effect on your poor ol' liberal soul. Fuck the law, it allows them to sell products that kill indiscriminately.

Smashing job House Elf, Keep up the pressure!

Do you think that those people might be branded terrorists?

20.11.2007 16:38

Maybe?

Concerned

By who?

20.11.2007 17:33

Who's going to brand them as terrorists? The media? They might try, but I think it generally takes a bit more than a bit of paint to catch their attention. The cops? Again, they can try, but I don't see how they'd actually be able to charge anyone with terrorist offences for it, especially if no-one knows whodunnit. Anyone with an ounce of sense? It seems very unlikely.

Uncharacteristically laidback

justified act

20.11.2007 18:49

considering EDO MBM are withholding their 2006 accounts from public scrutiny and thus openly flouting the law of the land, never mind their continuing complicity in war crimes and genocide overseas, it seems to me a few dabs of paint and a broken camera is hardly the 'terror'.

But anyway a little french revolutionary style terror would be quite appropriate for them scumbags.

terror

"Do you think that those people might be branded terrorists?"

Yes! EDO are definitely terrorists!

after all islam is a peaceful religion they wouldnt do it under the name of allah willingly would they?

thomsk

22.11.2007 14:19

Jog on!

Nice one to those responjsibel, keep it up.

We fackin love you guys.

so very very concerned

Vandalism doesn't help your case

27.11.2007 15:13

Regardless of what EDO have done, this kind of thing, while providing immediate gratification for some of those closely involved, will not endear the campaign to the general public. With the film about to be toured, isn't this what you're trying to do, get less radical people on your side? Breaking things just makes you look petulant and unintelligent. Wrong move.

Tim
