http://www.wastemonsters.org.uk have produced spoof parking tickets for 4x4s, if you contact them via their website they will send you a bunch or you can print off your own.
Having spent a delightful Saturday afternoon strolling round the streets of East Worthing issuing tickets to offending SUVs I cannot recommend this highly enough. The tickets look pretty convincing and inform the offending monster truck owner of their poor vehicle choice, and what a danger they are to fellow road users and the environment.
After cleaning up the streets of East Worthing we managed to ticket the front row of SUVs at the Nissan Garage in Brougham Road - maybe if all 4X4 dealers displayed "Poor Vehicle Chouce" leaflets on the windscreens of their wares people wouldn't buy the stupid things in the first place.
