In addition, this year's line-up includes talks from heads if NGOs (Charles Clayton), activists (Ko Aung) and scholars (Hugo Slim), we also have Ghada Ageel, a refugee from Gaza, and Guantanamo detainee Omar Deghayes coming to speak.
If that wasn't enough, we have a night of short films commissioned by Ctrl+Alt+Shift, a fantastic launch night party with music from hip hop and spoken word artist Dizraeli, soul beauty Sarah Williams White and swing-folksters Toyface and the Crash!Bang!Boom! Plus the directors of documentaries Saharawi and Outside the Law: Stories from Guantanamo will be discussing their films.
And finally, the festival begins with a pre-launch event 'The Burma Play' theatre production at the North Wall Arts Centre, Summertown on the evening of Friday 19 Feb 2010.
What else can we say? Oh yes - it's all FREE!
