PUBLIC MEETING - Replacing animals in research: what's happening in Europe?
7pm, Friends Meeting House, 43 St Giles, Oxford
This term, in response to the opening of the animal laboratory, we will be concentrating our efforts on a larger-scale event looking at current animal replacement initiatives at EU level, how these might translate to future UK government policy and how the public can influence this process.
We are delighted to have as our speakers Caroline Lucas, MEP and Green Party leader; Mike Baker, President of the Eurogroup for Animals and Emily McIvor, Policy Director of the Dr Hadwen Trust for Humane Research.
Further details to follow.
All welcome.
