Thanks to all indymedia readers for your support, I'll pass them on to Chris. He went to Hornchurch police station last night and was transferred to Wandsworth Prison today. His prison number is XA7269 and the address is Wandsworth Prison, Heathfield Road, Wandsworth SW18 3HS.
Chris was in good spirits when we spoke, he had spent most of the evening in a prison van but the police in Hornchurch had supplied him with tea and a phone. He is very appreciative of all the good wishes
We are reminded of the continuing importance of witnessing against this war in Iraq by the recent news from Baghdad. 100 dead yesterday and over 600 people held in raids. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and those families who will find it much harder to find out what has happened to their prisoners.
