Pressure continued on Willmott Dixon in Coleshill

An Activist | 06.06.2010 13:55 | Animal Liberation | Birmingham

Regular demos carrying on outside of the Willmott Dixon office in Coleshill, Birmingham in coordination with the nation-wide campaign to stop the new vivisection laboratory at Leicester University.

Friday 4th June 2010

Willmott Dixon Demo in Coleshill

Midlands activists arrived again at our local office of Willmott Dixon, one of the main building contractors responsible for building a vivisection laboratory at Leicester University.

Masked activists entered the site of WD, and the flag was again reeled down as a simple pointer in showing what we think of their company for trying to help to torture and murder countless animals.

After this we approached the building, staff from inside locked the doors and pulled the blinds shut as previously seen. What's wrong Willmott Dixon, can't face the despicable truth of what your company is responsible for? As long as you are involved with building a vivisection laboratory, you won't escape it!

A loud demonstration begun in which we informed WD about the wrongs of their contract and the vivisection industry.

We then took to the roof and thus another banner drop took place, with more staff scurrying around and looking up in suprise.

A few staff members came out to voice their support for us, and said they were in utter disgust at what their neighbouring company is doing.

We then protested outside of the site which gave us a chance to inform and leaflet more members of the public whom continue to show us upright support and appreciation for protesting against WD.

The pressure will continue on Willmott Dixon until they stop being involved with animal cruelty and pull out of their lab-building contract with Leicester University, as will it continue on all other companies involved until they sether their ties with supporting the Leicester University vivisection laboratory too!

A video of the day's protest can be seen here:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n7b2PBcHUxU
