16:00 Update multiple breaches in fence reported - apparently a police oficer has collapsed and an ambulance has attended quickly - this follows the collapse of a man earlier in the day with a suspected mild heart attack and reports that obtaining medical assistance was difficult.

Repeated, persistant and passionate fence dismantling been going on all day around Ratcliffe power station. Bolt cutters, grappling hooks, ropes, fencing used as ladders, climbing, jumping, pulling and pushing. An amazing display of determination to stand up and be counted against the root causes of climate chaos...

So, Climate Campers manage to hospitalise a copper while attempting shut down Ratcliffe power station. You would have thought confrontation with the police to be expected, due to the Campers will to partake in an illegal action, and thus participants being prepared to use self-defence- learning for the brutal response to their non-violence at the G20, despite the Blackheath Camp being relatively quiet on the police side of things. But no. As soon as a copper gets taken out, we see CCers work with their opponents and even issuing a statement wishing that the copper gets well soon. Nice to see the Climate Campers showing themselves to be the true 'wadicals' that they are- well the media team atleast!
